We made it!

Harvey and I are no strangers to the sky. We are seasoned travelers and our kids aren't far behind us. But as we contemplate our trips taken and the experiences we have had in the car and air; nothing beats our most recent. With our sweet boy having the flu; our 18 month old screaming non stop (7 hours total) with ear infections, an 8 hour lay over in NJ, and a 1 1/2 hour delay on the tarmac. Words cannot describe the elation or was it exhaustion we felt when we finally arrived at 12:00am. But we made it! And I must add, it was worth it. The abundant sunshine, playing with cousins, the cabin, the swimming pools, riding the coaster in park city, reuniting with old friends, playing with both Papa's and both Grandma's and riding the ski lift in Sundance and seeing the beauty that the Wasatch Mountains contain has made every second of our flight worth it. We have so much more to see and so much more sun to soak in; we will keep you posted and hopefully with pictures next time!

So glad you made it - we should have come to get you when you were on your layover in NJ! That would have been a blast! Remember that for next time :)

Hope you have fun in Utah. You deserve some fun after a plane trip like that! Utah is so pretty - I didn't realize how pretty it when I lived there. Now I miss it like crazy.
