We really did have a Christmas...

Because we had a whirlwind of a month some of our Christmas traditions were forgotten or shoved aside, however, we still managed to make it a Christmasy month. Here is a recap...

1. Our ward Christmas party, where we had an angel, a narrator, and a chubby little sheep.

2. Madison had her nativity play where she played a devil fittingly. (Sorry no pics, they are on Harvey's computer which is now surfing the tides on the great Atlantic)

3. Savannah had her Christmas production. Where she played her recorder and sang her duet. She was so scared but she managed to sing it brilliantly.

4. We had a Cookie Exchange party with some church friends. We managed to eat soup and bread, decorate cookies, sing Christmas carols, play games and eat junk food. Good times!
(Oh yeah Sam, you had to smooch your hubby in order to avoid your picture being taken so I had to post the only pic you would let me take. Maybe next time you will pose properly!!!!)

5. I hosted a party for the school moms which masterfully turned into a farewell party when the ladies surprised me with a card and a gift. So kind!
6. Amongst the craziness, Santa was able to find us and showered us with all that we asked for and more. (No pics, I was just too plain lazy to find the camera after having been awake since 1:00am, thanks a lot Sav!)

Thanks for posting that picture!! lol! I just do not like posing for pictures- just go for candid shots next time! Glad you all got there safely- hope the flight wasn't too bad! Why were you up at 1am? Kids suffering jet lag?

Linds,

Welcome Home! Glad that you were still able to enjoy Christmas despite the business of your move. We have been thinking about you all month. We hope you made it to Virginia safely. What part of VA did you move to? We need to have a four winds reunion soon. Maybe in the fall if we come out for the Southern Virginia Homecoming.
Hope you are doing well.

I was excited to see a new post from you - you are alive! And survived the journey then? Hope all is going ok, have been thinking of Sav and Maddie today wondering if they started school and hoping all went well for them. Loved the photos - but made me sad that you've gone! x x x
