Just how many moves can the Scott family make in 13 years?
Well exactly...
12!!!!
And here we go again...
As we put our beautiful home on the market there are so many mixed emotions that follow. We love this home, we love the acres that we have, the peace and quiet that comes from living out in the country, the deer that put on a show for us each and every night (a somewhat boring show), our awesome schools, our friends, our church community, the YMCA and the break up of a vital routine that saves mommy from insanity.
And it is with MUCH sadness that we have to leave our home in Virginia...
But as I have been stressing to the kids lately to look at the positives of Utah; I must do so as well.
And what could be better than living once again with FAMILY!
That is what it is all about. We can't wait to join our family and hang out with cousins and Grandparents. Not to mention the amazing outdoor adventures we can have and the beauties that Utah has to offer.
So it is with much sadness that we leave our friends and home here in Virginia...but with great anticipation that we begin our life in Utah.
With that being said, let's bring on the exhausting trial of moving a family of 7 across the country!!! Ready, set, go!

wow, so many moves. We too have done alot but that tops us!!! Hope it all goes well and the kids settle into new friends etc really soon. Where will you be planting yourself in Utah?
We have had 10 in 12 years so we would have to have some major changes happen to be able to catch up with you. Ironically our longest stint was the sorority the toughest place we have ever lived. I am so happy that you are moving closer to family. One of the blessing of having lived so far away from family, is now that you are moving closer you will truly appreciate all the blessing of living close to them without ever taking it for granted. Good luck with the move and I hope your house sells quickly and easily for what you are asking.
