Summer is here! I am thrilled to be giving up...
Sack lunches,
Early hectic mornings,
Mid-day and afternoon pick ups,
Living in my car,
Stressing over homework assignments and projects.
We can't wait to take on...
UTAH,
Cornell Reunion,
Bear Lake,
Smith Mountain Lake,
Swimming Pools,
Relaxing mornings,
Slow Days,
Watermelon and Strawberries
BBQ's
Visitors
Popsicles
And the list could go on and on and on!
The first day out of school the kids were able to go to Smith Mountain Lake. It was amazing. 8 years ago we went to Lake Winnipesaukee assuming we were seeing where the film "What about Bob" took place. It wasn't until we moved here that we realized that although they took on the name and State in the film it was actually here at Smith Mountain Lake where the film was made!
When we got to the lake the Youth in our church were there jumping off the second story deck into the water. As soon as we pulled up Savannah disappeared and ran up the deck and flung her little self off into the lake. She had no fear of heights. We had a blast!
There is no doubt we are starting the summer off right!

Ithaca! My best friend lives there, and I haven't been to visit in over 20 years ... when is your reunion? What fun!
